The town of Hooksett, New Hampshire is located between Manchester, New Hampshire and Concord, New Hampshire. It is a suburb located on the Merrimack River. It is a quiet town with many civic organizations.
Thirty percent of the population of Hooksett is located within a central area, called Hooksett Village. The town hall and numerous small businesses reside here, although a short distance away you can find larger areas of development, specifically in the retail sector.
Education
Hooksett maintains three public schools which serve grades K through 8. It shares a highschools with neighboring communities. A number of nearby private schools such as Mont Blanc Academy are available as well.
There is also a strong community surrounding the town's library, which holds numerous events, classes and workshops.
